July 31, 2025 Storm Updates

2:01 P.M. - At approximately 1:00 P.M. all poles had been repaired and reconstruction had been completed. As of 2:00 P.M. our operations team continued to work together to energized line and restore power to all members who were without power due to the storms from July 31st.

9:08 A.M. - We have continued to work through the night with restorations and reconstruction. We have been working to rebuild the line and construct 12 large poles in our Gunter service territory, this specific span of line is impaction approximately 620 members. Our crews, operations team and contractor crews have and will continue to work until all power is restored. Damage to this magnitude takes time to repair - we thank you for your understanding as our team works as safely and quickly as possible.

9:54 P.M. - We have all available lineman working to restore power to our members, and have called in our team of contractor crews to aid in restoration as well. We have outages across our entire service territory and at least 10 large power poles down and anticipate to find more as we continue toward restoration. We appreciate your paitence and understanding and will continue to work until all power is restored.

8:49 P.M. - We are aware of outages affecting more than 1,500 members at this time. High winds have caused damage south east of Gunter. Our crews are working with first responders in the area. Outages in other portions of the service area will be assigned to additional crews to make repairs from damaging winds and lightning.
