David Ellis lives in Tom Bean with Kristi, his wife of 29 years. They have four children: Amy, 37; Tyler, 27; Tanner, 23; and Allie, 21.
David has been a member of the cooperative since 1988.
He graduated from Tom Bean High School in 1981 before attending Grayson County College in the Machine Tool Technology Department.
He is very involved in the community serving on the Tom Bean ISD School Board for six years, Tom Bean EDC Board for five years, and the Tom Bean Youth Sports Association for 15 years.
Since 1988, he has served as President of Ellis Tool & Machine, Inc. and as Vice President of Tiger Ridge Manufacturing, Inc. since 1998.

Jim Copeland lives west of Pottsboro with his wife of 36 years, Shellee, and their four children. Their oldest son Clay, who is married to Brayden, is a graduate of Texas A&M Commerce University and works as the Operations Manager for A-1 Little John Inc. Their middle son Cody, who is married to Olivia, is a graduate of Texas Tech University and works alongside his dad and brother at A1 Little John as the Sales Manager. They have a set of twins Emma and Cole. Emma is a graduate of Oklahoma State University and Cole is following in his family footsteps and is working at the family business, A1 Little John. They have four grandchildren: Braxton, June Clara, Charlotte, Kate and Grady.
Jim graduated from East Texas State University in 1993 with an Agri-Business Degree. He worked 5 years for El Dorado Chemical Company managing fertilizer distribution plants, which gave him the unique opportunity of traveling all over Texas, Oklahoma, and Arkansas. In 1998 Jim and Shellee purchased A-1 Little John Inc., which they have successfully owned and operated for the past 20years. Jim is an active leader in the community and has served on many local community boards.
Jim has served as a director of Grayson Collin Electric Cooperative since 2014. He proudly served as President of the Texoma Exposition Livestock Show Association for many years, as well as the past President of the Pottsboro ISD schoolboard. The Copelands enjoy spending time with their children, family and close friends. Jim’s hobbies include raising show animals, ranching, hunting, golfing and enjoying the outdoors.

Dennis Ferguson lives in Van Alstyne with his wife Sandra of 47 years, who are both Van Alstyne High School Graduates. Dennis has lived in the Van Alstyne area for approximately 50years. He also worked for Grayson Collin Electric for 42 years and he retired in 2018 as Manager of Overhead construction.
He is an extremely proud father and grandfather. Their children, Christy, owns a local hair salon, Shear Elegance in Van Alstyne, Kevin who attended The University of Texas at Austin and received his degree in Mechanical Engineering and Kimberly who attended The University of Texas at Tyler and received a Bachelor’s of science in Nursing. They have 5 grandkids, Raygan, Grayci, Reid, Rhett, and Chase.
In his free time he enjoys hunting, fishing and golfing with his friends and son. He and Sandra both enjoy spending time with their grandkids, attending the grandkids' sporting events and spending time with family.

Steve Robinson has lived in the Celina area all his life. After graduating from Texas A&M University in 1973 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Agriculture Engineering, Steve served as a pilot in the United States Air Force. Following his Air Force service, he returned to Celina to raise a family with his wife, Jackie, and work on the farm that has been owned by the family since 1879.
When not busy farming, Steve enjoys a variety of activities including gardening, camping, and flying. Steve still holds his pilot’s license, which allows him to relax in the open skies. Steve and Jackie attend Stonebriar Community Church, where they serve as volunteers for several activities.
Some of Steve’s proudest moments have come from being a father. Two of his children followed his footsteps and earned degrees from Texas A&M University. Their oldest son, Chad is married to Shelly; and they have two children. Their daughter Leigh Ann earned a Master’s Degree in Speech Pathology and works with children for Baylor Healthcare. She is now married Michael Jordan, and they live in McKinney. Youngest son, Kyle has a degree from the University of North Texas and works on the family farm with his dad. He is married to Lindsey, and they have two children.

Paul Kirkland has always been a Texan at heart. Originallyfrom Van Alstyne, he proudly graduated as a Panther before continuing hiseducation at East Texas State University, now Texas A&MUniversity–Commerce, majoring in Ag Business and a member ofAlpha Gamma Rho fraternity. Though he spent several years in Coloradoworking and living on his family's guest ranch, Texas was always home.
In the early 1980s, Paul settled in Collin County, where hemarried his beloved high school sweetheart , Tammi. Together, they built alife in Lucas, Texas, raising their three children and creating a strongfoundation rooted in family, friendship, and community.
Professionally, Paul dedicated many years to a foamfabrication business, where he served as General Manager, specializing indesigning custom packaging for unique items. Never one to stop learning, healso became a licensed irrigation specialist. Always pushing himself to grow,Paul even earned his helicopter license, discovering a true love for flying.Paul had a passion for adventure and competition. He spent many years boatracing alongside family and friends, achieving the notable accomplishment alongwith his team of having the fastest drag boat on water.
Currently serving on the board of GCEC and being analternate Board member of Rayburn Electric. With the growthand environmental changes taking place in Grayson and Collin countiestoday, Paul,enjoys working with other board of directors in strivingto improve member quality and competitive rates without sacrificingreliability and safety.
