September 21, 2025 Outage

8:05 P.M. - From our General Manager/CEO - "We don’t know the wind speeds experienced in tonight’s storm, but we have reports of winds high enough to damage property, homes and at least a dozen poles. We also know of hail at least the size of golf balls in Howe and Van Alstyne.

The crews of restored service to over 5,500 members, and we continue to work to restore service to over 700 still affected. As the crews provide progress reports, they are reporting vegetation (trees) fallen into the power lines. Often, it takes longer to make these repairs. We thank you for your patience and understanding. Please stay away from any downed lines."

6:56 P.M. - After the storms that blew through our service territory we have 7,200 members without power. We have broken poles and debris in various lines that our crews are working against. We have all available crewmen working and will continue to work until all power is restored. To call and report an outage, or downed power lines please call 903-482-7100.
