We are aware many of our members are without power. The storm that has blown through both Grayson and Collin Counties caused severe damage to multiple parts of our service area. We had 60 mph wind in northern Collin county as well as strong straight line winds and hail in both counties. At the height of the storm we had approximately 18,000 members without power. Our crews have restored nearly 10,000 members and will continue to work until all are restored. We appreciate your understanding and patience.
ERCOT has issued a Voluntary Conservation Notice for today, June 20, from 4 - 8 p.m. due to extreme heat and forecasted record demand. ERCOT is asking Texans to voluntarily reduce electric use, if safely able to do so. ERCOT is not in emergency operations.
